Hotel Receptionist

We are currently looking for a Full Time **Receptionist** to join our friendly team front of house team.

This challenging role within a growing business could be a great step for anyone with passion for customer service looking to start or progress their hospitality career.

As a member of our Reception team you’ll have previous experience in a similar environment. You’ll be passionate about giving a professional and friendly service and you’ll embrace our brand standards and do your best make each guest’s stay meet and exceed expectations.

**This is a part time role, working 32-40 hours per week, over 4-5 days including weekends and bank holidays. Usually working 2.30pm to 22.30pm alternative shifts may also be required.**
- To deliver a consistently high level of customer service at the Reception Desk by dealing with all guests and potential clients in a courteous and efficient manner.
- To perform a variety of duties necessary for the smooth operation of the Hotel and maintain security during the shift.
- To welcome guests upon arrival, help them to register, assign rooms and direct them to the room while informing them of all in-room and Hotel facilities.
- Attend to all guests and potential clients at the Front Desk in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Answer customer inquiries politely and efficiently.
- Ensure all room moves are dealt with and recorded efficiently following company procedures.
- Be aware of guests’ special requirements and communicate them to relevant departments.
- Identify return and regular clients and make sure their special requirements are met.
- To follow and to adhere to company set standards and established procedures.
- To have a previous work experience with **Guestline Rezlynx PMS **is preffered but not essential

**What we're looking for in a Receptionist**
- Previous experience in a similar role or an operational and guest facing role in a similar Hospitality environment
- Fully conversant with security, health and safety procedures
- A trained and competent fire warden and emergency first aider
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Previous experience of Guestline Rezlynx PMS is an advantage
- Previous experience is desirable but great attitude and passion for hotels is a must.
