Our popular steakhouse and first venture, Cocktails & Steaks, Uddingston was established in 2017. Followed by our Scottish Restaurant & Gin Emporium Mr MacGregor’s in Netherlee. Cutler Lobster & Steaks serves fresh seafood and shellfish along with the finest cuts of beef and is located in Giffnock. Our latest venture is a traditional Italian restaurant Luciano’s in Burnside offering traditional Italian dishes and authentic Italian style pizza and outstanding wine.

At Meraki, we take pride in offering a unique dining experience that delights our guests with mouthwatering dishes made from the freshest produce possible, a warm ambiance, and exceptional service. Our menu features locally sourced ingredients prepared by our talented chefs ensuring every visit is an unforgettable culinary adventure.

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you We are seeking a dedicated **Part time Front of House **Team member, with the possibility of progression to full time, to join our team at **Cocktails & Steaks** restaurant located in the heart of **Uddingston.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests with a genuine smile, creating a positive first impression of our restaurant.
- Guide guests through the menu, making recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences or restrictions.
- Take accurate and detailed food and drinks orders, entering them efficiently into the POS system.
- Serve dishes and drinks with care, paying attention to presentation and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Respond promptly and knowledgeably to guest inquiries about the menu, specials, and help guide guests with your knowledge of different cuts of steak and how they are cooked.
- Maintain a clean and organised dining area, set up tables, and assist with cleaning duties as needed.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately, following proper cash-handling procedures.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about menu updates and service techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Strong multitasking abilities, ensuring efficient service during busy times.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Enthusiasm to learn about our menu offerings and provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.
