At Goldstone Books, we're committed to giving second-hand books a new lease on life while minimising our environmental impact. As an online retailer based in Llandybie, Wales, with a library of over 750,000 books, we sell through online marketplaces and at our Carmarthen bookshop. We take pride in ensuring that not a single book is ever thrown away. If we can't find a new home for a book, we recycle it responsibly back through the paper industry.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed full-time Van Driver to join our team. As an experienced 3.5t van driver, you will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries and collections throughout Wales. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and physical fitness, as you will be loading and unloading bags and crates of books from shops, recycling centres, and house clearances.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently driving company vans to various locations
- Loading books into bags/crates at recycling centres and loading the van with bags/crates from shops and private addresses
- Managing daily cash float and handling cash transactions responsibly
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections, and cash transactions
- Ensuring the van is well-maintained, clean, and fueled for daily operations

**Core Competencies**:

- Valid UK driving licence with experience driving 3.5t vans
- Good geographical knowledge of Wales
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Capable of lifting up to 25kg repeatedly throughout the day
- Flexibility to work any hours required between 06:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability and punctuality
