**Salary**:Competitive, plus Veolia benefits

**Hours**: 48 hours per week Monday - Friday 07.00 - 17.00 (30 minutes unpaid break) (occasional Saturday work)

**Location**: Grantham, NG31 7UH

**What you'll be doing;**
- Plan and deliver day to day operations (plant availability, staffing levels, resources, Haulage)
- Ensure all outgoing loads have correct paperwork in place.
- Monitoring team & site to ensure safe operations
- Report close calls, accidents and incidents
- Team training & competency
- Carrying out site inspections and monitoring for VMR and permit compliance
- Carry out daily site housekeeping with daily sign off
- Fire watch / heat monitoring
- Weekly running of fire pump (training provided)
- Loading of walking floors/trailers in absence of loading shovel Operator
- Ensure material outputs meet quality standards
- Weighbridge operations
- Manage waste flows / volumes / transport booking
- Feedback on close calls / expect respect reports
- Visitors and contractor safety, incl permits to work, inductions
- Stop the Job and report any safety issues

**What we're looking for;**
- Previous experience as a supervisor
- Using own Initiative
- Working alone and as part of a team
- Proactive and enthusiastic
- Understanding of environmental legislation would be an advantage
- Good leadership and people skills
- Good IT skills
- Experience in Waste industry preferred
- Loading shovel experience would be ideal
