The Lead Practitioner (Student Support Review), will work within the multi-disciplinary team of specialist practitioners, including specialist support for sexual violence and harassment, counsellors and wellbeing practitioners.

Main duties include

Chairing supportive meetings with students, academics, internal and external stakeholders,
Working with colleagues to effectively and safely triage students seeking support
Line manage a small team of enthusiastic and dedicated specialist practitioners

This 1 year fixed term post is offered on a full-time basis, working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The post is offered on a hybrid working basis. Starting point for salary is commensurate with experience.

There are opportunities to get involved in outreach work and student lifecycle events: Graduation, Exams and Welcome. There is an expectation to work some open and visit days, spread across the academic calendar at weekends.

There is a generous annual leave entitlement (36 days a year, to include University Christmas and Easter closure days). Highfield Campus has onsite shops and café’s and is a short walk from Portswood,. There is an Early Years Centre providing care for children up to the age of 5. Subsidised sports and gym membership is available and we have the best leisure facilities in the area.
