**WHAT TO EXPECT**

**You will**:

- Develop the simulation strategy based on test requirement to achieve the departmental virtual validation objectives.
- Responsible to specify the BoM (Bill of Material) to enable the HIL platform setup
- Provide rig modeling and rig system debugging to support the test needs.
- Day to day HIL rig maintainence to enable smooth manual and automated ECU software testing.
- Support the rig planning, test booking, execution and ECU product defect debug to leverage the max efficiency of the HIL rig softare validation.
- Analytical skillset to interpret the data generated, debug the issues to identify the root cause.
- Capture and log network signals, plot and measure them as required by the validation team.
- Ensure virtual tools and HIL rig coverage for future model changes
- Provide technical advice and guidance on collection and measurement of data. To collate, manipulate and interpret data which will be used to inform engineering decisions
- To support continuous improvement activity with the goal of improving test efficiency and/or product quality
- Oversee commissioning and acceptance testing of measurement equipment

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

**Essential**:

- Electronic engineering background preferred and having good software programing skills.
- Proven experience in Matlab, Simulink and Simulation toolset
- Plant modelling and Behavioural modelling experience, based on requirements.
- Proficient in using dSPACE tool chain especially configuration desk and Control Desk
- Experience to interpret specific test requirements and vehicle circuit diagram into HIL test setup and wiring mapping to enable the ECU software system level test.
- Good knowledge of vehicle architecture and vechicle network knowledge such as CAN, LIN, Flexray, BroadRReach
- Good working knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and understanding of ISO standard (ISO 14229-1) of vehicle (UDS) protocol,

**Desirable**:

- Ability to collect and summarise customer requirements and align work with strategic themes
- Proven skillset on Data analysis and reporting of test data.
- Good project management skills to enable HIL rig planning and efficient delivery.
- Knowledge of processing tools such as JIRA, SVN,GIT are preferred.
- Knowledge of dSpace or NI test system is an advantage on top of Vector test system.
- Propulsion system knowledge and BEV basic knowledge
