**Coffee Shop Worker**

Daisy Chain Project are looking for a passionateand enthusiastic Coffee Shop worker to join the team
Come and work in our newlyrevamped urban/industrial coffee shop equipped with brand new, high quality baristaequipment. Serve award winning coffee and prepare our new, exciting and tasty food menu inclusive of sweet treats. In doing so, you will be makinga real difference to those affected by autism.

Job brief*

The post holder will be responsible for providing a warm, welcoming and high-quality customer experience within our coffee shop. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages to the highest standards in accordance with our menus. This will include the use of a commercial coffee machine and till operating system. You will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all kitchen/coffee shop areas by following established daily procedures. You will also work with and support other coffee shop staff, volunteers and young people affected by autism. This role involves being proactive and using foresight to see where you can be the most helpful next. Due to the nature of the role, the post holder must have the ability to work weekends including Sundays as required.

**Salary**: £18,596 (pro rata)
**Hours**:22.5 hours a week (must have the ability to work Sunday)

**Key **Responsibilities**
- Preparation of food snacks and beverages and presenting them in a visually pleasing way.
- Serving of meals and beverages to visitors, staff and others
- Serve hot drinks using a professional barista coffee machine(training provided)
- Setting and clearing of tables
- General kitchen and coffee shop duties including washing up,setting up and clearing away equipment and tables, cleaning of the kitchen andcoffee shop and surrounding area to include all work surfaces, coffee shopfurniture, floors and walls.
- To assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety,cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices arefollowed. To report any problems to theShop Manager
- Assist in stock taking and storage of stock, including checkingdelivers
- Attending training courses as appropriate
- Provide a high standard of customer service which is friendly andcourteous at all times
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overallfunction of the job
