The Oxford Vaccine Group (OVG) is based within the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Oxford and carries out research of major national and international importance in the fields of infectious diseases, immunology and vaccines.

The Research Practitioner will work on vaccine and vaccine-related studies, providing administrative support, phlebotomy, sample collection and processing for individuals participating in paediatric and adult trials being run by OVG under the direction of a clinical research fellow or research nurse.

Duties will include regular communication with trial participants, conducting scheduled visits at weekends and outside of normal working hours in the clinic, home or emergency department setting.

The post is fixed term for 24 months in the first instance, but has the potential to be extended based on the availability of further funding.
