You are an experience mid-level Producer for RuneScape’s development team, responsible for overseeing the smooth running and development of several initiatives, aligned to a product roadmap and its vision.

Partnering closely with RuneScape’s Discipline Leads, Producers, Product Managers, QA, Outsourcing and other key project stakeholders you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the Production discipline, to ensure the teams you support have a productive day-to-day workflow, that it has capacity to reach its development goals and delivery, and that you have the relevant support needed to service these areas in terms of a prioritized backlog, sourcing capacity, costing, planning, schedules, briefing and feedback - so that nothing can get in the way of making an awesome game and delivering value to players.

As part of the development of RuneScape it will be vitally important that the expected delivery is aligned to roadmap priorities and release timing, key objectives, that you can manage medium level of delivery risk through thorough monitoring, tracking, and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Someone successful in this role is player, product, and quality focused, leading by example, developing trust and respect amongst the team. You will support and improve planning, development, and release processes on a continuous basis to meet product vision and quality goals.

**Key Duties Include**:

- Directs the day-to-day development through production and the launch of the game and live services.
- Owns key areas of delivery of the game, sets overall tone and pace for team.
- Partner closely with the Lead Producer to deliver on short and long-term development and roadmap objectives.
- Work with the Production, Product and Discipline Leads teams to create a program of work for each area of the team.
- Understand and communicate the expectations for visual, technical, design and commercial quality targets, driving clarity for requirements and execution.
- Experienced in Agile development you will be able to organize and support high performing scrums.
- Track, promote, follow up on and relay information on key decisions, actions & shared discussions.
- Pro-actively spot and solve problems within the scrums, escalate as needed.
- Create good working relationships, manage cross team communication of development plans, status and requirements.
- Work closely with the outsourcing team to improve quality, cost-effectiveness, and risk mitigation of RuneScape deliverables.
- Work closely with the Discipline and Product Leads to understand and communicate the expectations for visual, technical, design and commercial quality of features, functionality, driving clarity for requirements and execution.
- Work closely with the Development Director to track, organize, maintain, and document status of projects and initiatives.
- Work with line managers and craft leads, assessing capacity and skill requirements for all projects and initiatives.
- Be the first line of contact for day-to-day development within your initiatives, problem solve course-correct to appropriate direction.
- Monitor, Measure and Mitigate risks in areas of responsibility, effectiveness of initiatives, medium to high level delivery and financial risks, that can help the team deliver the best possible game.
- Help the team create clear Roles & Responsibilities for initiatives.
- Coaching and mentoring future production team members, contributes to succession planning.
- Develop rich relationships with the Dev Team, cross-functional teams and directly with partners as needed.
