*Level 3* Practitioner

We are currently seeking a skilled Nursery Practitioner to join our exceptional nursery in Blackheath. We take great pride in providing a caring and supportive environment, ensuring a warm welcome for both children and staff.

All year-round full-time position

**Main Responsibilities**:
You will be required to report to both the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager. Your role will involve being trained to carry out the usual tasks performed by Early Years Practitioners. It is important to create a safe and engaging environment for the children. You will be responsible for implementing a play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that supports each child's development. Ensuring that the nursery meets all OFSTED requirements is also part of the role. You will need to plan activities that support the children in achieving early learning outcomes and continually seek to improve the quality of provision. Building strong relationships with parents/carers by keeping them informed about the nursery, children's progress, and encouraging their involvement is key. Maintaining compliance with Policies & Procedures, the Children Act, Health & Safety laws, and Ofsted guidelines is essential.

**Person Spec (required)**:

- An enhanced DBS check is required by My Childcare and Me before any appointment can be confirmed.
- Level 3 in Childcare
- Fluent in Spoken & Written English.
- 2 years working in childcare minimum

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
