We are currently seeking a talented Building Surveyor to join our client, a thriving multi disciplinary consultancy based in Colchester. As a leading multi-disciplinary practice, we work on a diverse range of projects across both the public and private sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level, working on exciting and challenging projects with a supportive and collaborative team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking building surveys, manage projects, report writing, building pathology and defect diagnosis
- Providing project management and contract administration services
- Preparing schedules of condition and dilapidation reports
- Undertaking measured surveys and producing drawings using AutoCAD
- Advising clients on building regulations and planning requirements

**Requirements**:

- MRICS qualification preferred but not essential
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Building Surveying
- Solid understanding of building construction and property law
- Previous experience in the public sector projects
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
