Domestic Abuse Team Supervisor

We have a current opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Team Supervisor on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Birmingham. For further information about this position please apply.
This role is till end of March 2023, part-time for 16 hours. Office is based 10 minuets outside the City Centre Birmingham.
Responsibility of a Domestic Abuse Team Supervisor
- Working with a varied caseload of individuals with complex needs including sexual abuse, substance misuse and mental health
- Carrying out group work in schools as part of WAG
- Arrange weekly team meetings used to encourage and highlight the knowledge of domestic abuse, housing and the day to day issues faced by the workers
- Managing a team of workers who delivered therapeutic service
- Organise supervisions, appraisals and personal development reviews for support workers
- Attend Consortium and Commissioner meetings to implement an action plan as part of a development scheme
- Build relationships with outside professionals such as IDVA's and community mangers to network the service and work as a united front for domestic abuse/VAWG survivors and their children
Requirements of a Domestic Abuse Team Supervisor
- A proven track record of managing a team
- Experience working in Domestic Abuse is highly desired
- DBS issued within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Able to start ASAP
