Deli Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Deli Supervisor to join our team. As a Deli Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving deli items, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Hours would vary between 6.30am and 7.30pm so flexibility in these hours is needed. Must be over 18 to serve alcohol.

**Duties**:

- General day to day running of the Deli
- Inputting sales and forecasting reports
- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Prepare and serve drinks including coffee
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Operate deli equipment including ovens, and grills
- Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Receive and stock inventory as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Upsell additional products or promotions to customers

Qualifications:

- Great leadership model
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic math skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Barista skills would be beneficial but training given

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
