'Primary Purpose

To be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Pavilion Tea Room while ensuring excellent

standards of staff support, customer service, hygiene, food safety and food service.

Key Responsibility Areas
- Assist with and supervise all aspects of preparation of food and beverages to ensure quality

and service standards set for the business are maintained.
- Ensure the Tea Room team is providing a welcoming and efficient first impression to all

visitors and maintain and develop high levels of customer service and satisfaction at all

times.
- Maintain a high level of food safety and cleanliness at all times in the kitchen, adhere to

SFBB standards and ensure check sheets are completed daily.
- Ensure the Tea Room is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness daily and report any

maintenance issues to the Manager, as necessary.
- Convey visitor and Tea Room team feedback to Manager.
- Manage the stock control and stock ordering to ensure appropriate levels are maintained

while ensuring minimum wastage, in cooperation with the Manager.
- Ensure all monies are handled in accordance with company policy and procedures while

communicating with the Manager to ensure any discrepancies are noted.
- Preparation of refreshments for Group Bookings and Cricket Teas, according to Manager

instruction.
- Ensure waste collection process is followed on relevant days.
- Supervise cricket on relevant days.
- In manager absence, Tea Room Assistants will directly report to Supervisor. Ensure any

relevant information is reported to the Manager in due course.

Professional Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, fresh food preparation environment.
- Minimum of level 2 food safety.
- Knowledge of food health and safety standards.
- Good multi-tasking and time management.
- A positive can-do attitude, a cool head and a person who takes pride in their work.
- Ability to work flexibly between all areas of the Tea Room.

- Have strong communication skills.
- Be personable and reliable.
- Works well under pressure.
- Be enthusiastic about serving high quality food and beverages.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: Up to £12.61 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
