You may have worked with animals and/or customer facing roles, full training is provided so this is not mandatory.

The exciting part.

You would work with the veterinary team performing a range of duties, caring for patients who are hospitalised.

Voo is supportive and collaborative workplace so you will start learning and contributing from the start.

Dependant on progress and GCSE grades After 12-24 months you would have the option to be enrolled on a placement as a student veterinary nurse where you would train at the CAW college. This is fully funded by Voo and would lead to RCVS Registered VeterinaryNurse Title (Level 3 Diploma).

You would attend classroom teaching at college one day per week and continue to work with us the remaining time.

This is a full-time role (40 hours a week, with weekends).

As a Kennel hand, you would be responsible for:

- Pet handling for examinations and procedures
- Cleaning, sterilisation and disinfection
- Restocking
- Equipment care and maintenance.
- In-house laboratory testing (e.g. blood testing)
- Setting up for procedures
- Assisting the veterinary and nursing team
- Cleaning/bathing pets
- Walking pets
- Feeding pets
- providing enrichment for pets
- Grooming inpatients
- giving oral medication under supervision
- laundry for the inpatients
