**Duration**:This is a temporary position with roles starting from 3 - 26 August. Your normal working week is 23 hours although you may be required to work hours in excess of this. These hours are arranged between 1815-2145 hours daily Monday to Friday and 1615-2145 hours on Saturday. You will be on duty every performance night.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide wheelchair pushing assistance to guests, and welfare to guests who have additional needs.
- Carry out welfare and accessibility procedures as outlined in the Event Management Plan.
- Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand, and bend throughout the course of a shift.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the course of a shift.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 75 pounds or more.
- Be friendly and engaging.
- Have a positive demeanour - able to remain calm, helpful, and work well in a high pressure, high demand role.
- Have a professional and caring nature for the challenges faced by our customers with varying levels of physical and mental conditions.
- Engage with Event organisers to provide insightful feedback to improve processes for the future.
- Treat all guests with dignity, respect.
- Confident in using radios and communicating to all relevant event teams.
- Take responsibility for individuals with additional access needs in the event of an evacuation.
- Understand the security and safety plans and their role in it.
- Carry out pre-event security checks to ensure the site is safe prior to occupation.
- Monitor the safety of the crowd, reporting immediately any observations of concern.
- Understand the Health & Safety and their role in that plan and how it operates to protect the audience (including those with special needs and children), other staff and themselves.
- Be familiar with the layout of the site and assist the audience by giving directions to facilities including: first aid, toilets, water, welfare and facilities for people with additional needs.
- Investigate any disturbances or incidents, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Ensure combustible refuse does not accumulate.
- Clarity of response responsibilities in the event of an emergency. This includes raising the alarm, immediate actions to be taken and maintaining an awareness of the situational.
- Communicate with Event Control in the event of an emergency.

Must be over 18 years of age.
