**_Gas Engineer (Commercial)_**

**Up to £38,000 + training + overtime +company van**

Based around anywhere from Winchester/Southampton area up to the M4 corridor.

Do you have good knowledge of being a field service engineer working with the Gas industry and looking to take the next steps within your career?

On offer is the chance to be responsible for carrying out installation and maintenance of a variety of commercial gas equipment.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Working independently or oversee the work of sub-contractors so that contract and project task is delivered to specification and cost.
- Analyse and understand complex technical issues, diagnose and provide solutions so as to maximise performance.
- Feedback to team leader and customer status of project or work so that both are fully aware of the progress to date.
- Liaise and keep customer informed so as to project a positive and professional image.
- Balancing own priorities and workload in order to ensure customer objectives are achieved and contractual obligations met.
- Providing coaching, guidance and encouragement to others so as to improve the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Working in a structured and tidy fashion, observing all relevant health and safety legislation and required operating standards

**Key requirements for role**
- 17th Edition electrical,
- FGAS qualified,
- Gas Safe qualified
- Pipe work installation
- Experience with all aspects of HVAC
- Diagnosing faults and being able to effectively act on it.
- Being able to answer technical queries.
