**About The Role**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Liaising with suppliers on quotations, orders, and deliveries
- Ensuring the successful purchasing of goods for production with the best possible lead times and costings
- Being innovative and efficient in the sourcing of materials and equipment required
- Managing supplier performance and maintaining good working relations with suppliers and customers.
- Managing the purchase order process to ensure a timely delivery/expediting of material in time for production.
- Conducting pricing and service negotiations, providing BLK BOX with the best possible agreements with the right quality.
- Maintaining stock levels and supply chain flow to ensure customers experience the best service and goods.
- To perform any other duties as may be required from time-to-time.

**Required Criteria**
- Minimum 2 years Buyer/Purchasing experience
- Knowledge and experience of inventory management systems and methods.
- Good IT skills with demonstrable experience of MS Office especially MS Excel
- Good problem-solving skills and self-motivated
- Strong Communication Skills both verbal and written.
- Comfortable with rapid change and evolving processes.
- Team player, with the willingness to support colleagues where needed.
- Passionate about their role and the wider success of BLK BOX.

**Desired Criteria**
- Demonstrate proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impact
- Working understanding of SIOP (Sales & Operational Planning)
