**What can I expect?**

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is dedicated to the intelligent integration of energy systems, buildings, and industries, transforming the way we live and work with a primary objective of fostering caring environments.

Our Smart Infrastructure division specializes in assisting grid operators to deliver power safely and reliably to homes, buildings, and industries. Presently, our customers confront fresh challenges, including the growing adoption of distributed energy systems, the incorporation of renewable energy sources, an aging grid infrastructure, and the rapidly evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats.

In line with Siemens' commitment to achieving carbon neutrality in its supply chain by 2050 and the urgent need to address climate change, we aim to intensify our focus on sustainability within the UK Smart Infrastructure supply chain. Are you the intern who can contribute to driving progress towards this vital goal?

Embark on your 12-month placement with us whilst taking part in our fantastic Intern Development Programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Environmental Sustainability.

**What do I need to apply?**
- You must be working towards a degree in an environmental/sustainability-related discipline. Knowledge of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) is preferable but not essential.
