**County Adviser**

**Salary**:Scale 7 - 11 starting salary £24,294 with 6% employer pension contribution

**Hours**: 37 hours per week

**Base location**:Main base TBC with travel across Leicestershire to branches and community venues with occasional home working

**Employment type**:Permanent

**Purpose of Role**:
We are looking for a confident and outgoing problem-solver who is happy to follow a process and enjoys research and helping people. If this sounds like you, we would like you to join us to play a key role in delivering a high quality advice service to the people of Leicestershire.

Working alongside a team of paid staff and volunteers you will deliver advice appointments and community advice sessions at branch and community locations across the County, with regular opportunities to deliver remote advice from home if you wish.

**Qualifications/Skills Required**

Communication skills are really important for this role, with research and IT skills coming a close second. You will need to be friendly and approachable, and comfortable to set clear boundaries with clients.
