As Head of Children and Family Services for Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust you will be uniquely placed to make a significant contribution to that aim across the Telford and Shropshire area, working closely with individuals, key system partners and internal stakeholders.

With services in the portfolio spanning Child and Adolescent Mental Health and perinatal mental health, but also including bespoke, targeted family-focussed services in partnership with our Local Authorities, the opportunities for creativity, innovation and delivering improved health and wellbeing outcomes at scale are plentiful.
- Responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Children & Family Services ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the Trust values.
- Responsible for setting the long-term strategic direction, business plans and objectives for the Children & Family Servicesand ensuring achievement of strategic objectives.
- Responsible for developing effective working relationships with commissioners and partner agencies across an unstable and challenged health economy.
- Responsible for management of the Children & Family Services income(circa £11m)and overseeing management and leadership of the Children & Family Services workforce( 150 WTE)
- Responsible for the performance of the Children & Family Services, including achievement of key performance indicators, identifying risks to performance and taking action to mitigate risks
