Operations Controller - Shift role
**Salary**: 26,500

Our client is looking for an Operations Controller on a permanent basis. You must be available to work on a rota basis which includes weekends and evenings.
THE ROLE:
Be the first point of contact with field staff.
Answer incoming calls to all that contact the control room and ensure that relevant details are passed on to each department.
Ensure that information is relayed to correct parties in a timely and efficient manner.
Input details on a purpose built database regarding operators, shifts completion, contract completion and locations.
Continuously checking and actioning correspondence in a central mailbox.
Sourcing of short-term accommodation.
Look for alternate resourcing in the event of staff sickness or short notice work requests.
Processing incoming paperwork and digital information from staff, clients, and stakeholders
Reporting and recording of accidents, incidents, and exceedances liaising with Operations manager before being passed to the relevant department.
THE CANDIDATE:
Experience working in an office environment with a wide range of responsibilities.
Have excellent computer skills
Excellent communications skills - written and spoken
Confident, helpful, and professional telephone manner
Ability to prioritise work, confidence to complete tasks without direct supervision; awareness of importance of accuracy and presentation, ability to process sort and distribute information to appropriate parties.
Self-motivation
Determination to initiate and complete tasks.
Ability to use discretion when handling confidential information.
Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
Assisting Directors, Sales, Finance, Planning and Operations, Facilities and Contracts Managers when required.
