Summary

The salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis. The successful applicant will hold responsibility for the general security of the building, basic maintenance and some areas of health & safety. We require a suitable person who will ensure high standards of cleanliness & hygiene of the building, whilst promoting the safety of all who enter the site.

Desirable Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning or equivalent

Essential Experience
- Ability to work as part of a team- Basic DIY / Handyperson Tasks
- Flexible attitude to work

Good interpersonal & communication skills- Cleaning experience, preferably within a school or of a similar large establishment
- Positive 'can-do' attitude

Desirable Experience
- Awareness of Health & Safety and COSHH- Experience of using powered equipment (eg floor buffer, rotowash, jetwasher)
