**£28,000 / Full time / Permanent**
**What is the role of a Production Planner?**
The Production Planners work within the Planning Team based in Selby acting as the focal point for all aspects of operation delivery across all DML (Dry, Moist and Liquid) divisions. You will be delivering excellent levels of customer service whilst accurately managing sales and purchase contracts.
**Key responsibilities and duties of the role include**:
- Sales & Purchase contract entry within the company risk policy parameters and management of those contracts once uploaded.
- Administration tasks as and when required - credit/debit notes, filing, invoice cancellations & new account set-up forms.
**Role Requirements**:
- Experience working within a customer facing role.
- Confident interpersonal & social skills - ability to deal with personnel at all levels of business.
- Pro-active & excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Experience in dealing with 3rd party logistics
- IT literate with a prior knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word as well as some CRM and data/order-entry software experience.
- A numerate and financially aware mind and a keen eye for details.
- A confident performer under pressure with a can do attitude
- A problem solver who can implement solutions
