As **Senior Mechanical Design Engineer**, you will be working for a global multi-technical solutions provider who puts their employee’s development and progression at the front of our business plans.

You will be designing highly technical full turnkey projects within the Life Science, Pharmaceutical & Critical Controlled Environments for some of the world’s most renown blue chip clients, taking a project from cradle to grave overseeing all aspects ofthe client’s requirements.

**You will**develop the client’s requirements, interrogating the URS/specification and work as a trusted adviser with our key clients. Develop and maintain customer relationships and assist them with full turnkey projects including construction,commissioning, and validation queries.

This role will be based in our Manchester office with national travel required.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Lead the design production of building services on your assigned projects
- To quality check and approve design information before onward transmission
- Manage the client to obtain and crystalize design definition
- Create building services design solutions to early stage user requirements
- Produce concept and feasibility studies to develop our solution to the client

**Key Skills**
- Engineering calculations for building services
- Coordination of both building services and fabric to create a constructable package of information
- Understanding of the psychrometric characteristics of air conditioning
- Conversant with a wide range of mechanical and electrical building service systems and equipment
- Writing and listening skills to accurately capture requirements and produce comprehensive design information
