Signpost Counsellor

Are you an experienced counsellor, passionate about working with children and young people? Do you have a level 4 diploma or higher in counselling and experience of facilitating group sessions?

We are looking for a passionate and experienced counsellor to join us at Signpost to facilitate the day to day running of our busy Hertfordshire based service and to assist in delivering group sessions for young people and parent support groups. You will have membership with a professional body such as BACP, UKCP or NCS and will be required to hold or undertake level 3 safeguarding.

Here at Signpost, we support children and young people across Hertfordshire aged 10-25 years of age, and their families. We offer both face-to-face and remote counselling sessions as well as group sessions. The role will involve counselling assessments for the children and young people wishing to access our service. You will also be expected to support some of the group counselling sessions which may include times in the evening or at the weekend.
