Farmers Guide is looking for an experienced Publisher.

Working at our office in Stowmarket, just off the A14 with staff parking.

As part of ongoing investment, the business is future proofing with implementation of up to date IT systems and technology to enable all departments to work smarter and improve efficiency is something we rarely have time for.

A bit about the company - Farmers Guide is the leading brand of a group of agricultural titles, including FarmAds and Fruit & Vine magazine. The company was founded in 1979 in Ipswich as a regional magazine and mailed direct to all farmers in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, and Cambridgeshire. Sales, editorial (print and online) marketing and graphic designers make up a team of 25 as well as a database management department.

Gradual organic growth enabled Farmers Guide to become a national agricultural magazine 10 years ago and now has a circulation of 30,000 and readership of around 90,000 (ABC certified) and includes the largest classified agricultural machinery section in Europe.

Steady growth has seen expansion in print for both magazines as well as digital platforms - websites and newsletters - but our success, which has also created growth to our already extensive data has made our working practices look tired and out of date.

Data storage and presentation, experience in managing people and a sales commercial awareness would also be required.
