We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Cyber Security Tutor** to join our team in Coventry.

**Job Summary**:
Your role will be to deliver engaging and inspirational programmes leading to defined outcomes for learners in accordance with PET-Xi’s company values and which meet prescribed internal and external standards, in accordance with the detailed specification agreed with the particular client, funder and awarding organisation.

**Key Role**:
To transfer the knowledge skills and behaviours required to meet the Cyber Security Technician Standard

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Follow the Rules and Procedures for Training Staff
- Deliver the agreed programme in accordance with the lesson plan
- Primarily delivering vocational qualifications in the tutor role, but assessing where required
- Ensure that every completing learner has an evidential Folder of Evidence ready and marked for moderation where appropriate
- Work with learners one-to-one as required via catch-up sessions where required
- Where applicable, assist in the writing and development of materials under instruction of The Head of Curriculum
- Provide supervision, guidance, and training to any other staff on the course
- Ensure good housekeeping at the programme venue/online and compliance with local health and safety requirements or PET-Xi remote delivery guidelines and rules
- Where necessary refer complaints immediately to the Vocational Delivery Manager
- Read and act on IQA reports
- Read and act accordingly to learner profiles as necessary
- Ensure all requirements for OFSTED are met in accordance with instructions from the Head of People and Ofsted
- Attend meetings as necessary in accordance with job requirements and company needs
- Participate in Training and Development as required
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of any children, young people and vulnerable adults the post holder may come into contact with during your employment at PET-Xi Training Limited.

**Personal Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Presentation, written and verbal.
- Time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage own diary.

**Education / Qualifications**
- L4 or above in Cyber security
- L3teaching qualification (or working towards) (Essential)
- L3 assessor qualification (Essential)
