JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE ROLE OF RECEPTIONIST.

Report to the Head Receptionist or the Directors in her absence.
- To greet all guests with a confident smiling personality at all times.
- To be smart and well presented at all times.
- To be responsible for money taken in reception, or in the post and its safe keeping, using the drop safe in reception to deposit money.
- To communicate at all times with the head receptionist, and convey any problems or difficulties experienced either with sales or with guests in the hotel. To deal with any issues or complaints a guest might have and seek to resolve the issue as quickly as possible by involving heads of department or management.
- To promote the hotel to prospective guests at all times, ensuring resident guests are fully aware of up-coming promotions.
- To communicate fully with all other departments as required to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
- To record any accidents and inform the directors of any liability issues.
- To take a key role in the event of an emergency, organising other members of staff to assist.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
