An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Paediatric Audiology Department as a Specialist Paediatric Audiologist. You will join a friendly team consisting of an Audio Vestibular Physician, a Clinical Scientist, a Highly Specialist Senior Audiologist, 3 Specialist Paediatric Audiologists and 2 Assistant Audiologists. The post holder will be a key part of the audiology team, working in both an independent capacity and assisting in senior clinics.

**HOURS**: This is a 37.5 hr post with a set weekly working pattern.

This position will be based in St Catherine's Health Centre. The post would involve travel to Victoria Central Hospital to meet the needs to the service.

This is a clinical role, where the post holder will be expected to lead audiology clinics across all ages of the paediatric population and assist senior members of the team in assessment and hearing aid clinics. In addition, they will have responsibility for their own daily calibration and prioritising their workload. Assisting in stock management and triaging will be required.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a standard/enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 month.

As this vacancy is within the division of Women’s and Children’s, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service. The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust. Further details of how to join the update service will be provided upon appointment.
