Construction Services Ireland is a leading commercial building maintenance company who provide reactive and planned maintenance for large scale multi-site clients throughout Ireland.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a yard person / general operative to join our team.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**

Including but not limited to the following:
Store Duties:
Store Duties
- Ensure materials stores are tidy and organised.
- Purchase materials from suppliers ensuring that stock levels are kept to an optimum level.
- Receive and check delivery of goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Collect materials from suppliers and deliver to site/store as required.
- Highlight/report any equipment defects or issues to Project Manager.
- Ensure that all vehicles are compliant with all legal, regulatory requirements ie arranging Tax / MOT / servicing.
- Be proactive and have a planned and structured approach to the maintenance of vehicles ensuring they are fit for purpose.

General Operative / Yard Duties
- As required, onsite labour for small works inc power washing.
- Cleaning duties; office cleaning inc hoovering, emptying bins, window cleaning and communal bathroom / kitchen cleaning.
- Grass cutting and weeding.
- General yard maintenance and tidying as required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Organised and Self Motivated
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of stock and material control.
- Ability to work on own initiative and act independently whilst being able to work successfully as part of a team.
- Able to work to deadlines.

Essential
- Full clean driving license.
- Have a fluent level of English, spoken and written

Desirable
- Forklift license
- CSR Card

**Job**:
Full time, permanent position

8am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.00pm Friday (39 hours per week)

Flexible approach required to out of hours working and overtime if required

**Salary**: £23,200.00-£25,000.00 per year
