Personal Care Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Personal Care Assistants. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services.
**Duties**:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises ie swimming with the help of another Personal assistant
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition
Qualifications:
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred
- Ability to drive to client locations as needed
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes
