**About The Role**:
**Overall Purpose of the Role**

To create and maintain a quality standard to the agreed specification within set time limits within a specific area.

You will be working Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 18:30, 16 hours per week.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role**
- Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest possible standard at all times.
- Adhere to company policies at all times.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.
- Undertake any reasonable task as requested by the site manager or supervisor

**Health & Safety Duties**
- Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
- Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions
- Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities. Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for safety.
- Take responsibility for reviewing the safe system of work prior to the commencement of the work activity.
- Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.
- Raise any concerns over Health & Safety breaches in accordance with Company Procedure.
- Be actively involved with any site CSR activities which promote the company around the school and local community.

**Details of the Role**
- To liaise daily with your supervisor reporting to them any information relevant to the provision of the service
- To complete all allocated domestic tasks shown on the work schedule for a specific area
- To maintain all equipment used in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
- To report any signs of pest infestation to your supervisor.

**Critical Performance Measures (CPMs) / Objectives**
- To Maintain your personal hygiene within acceptable standards
- To ensure you observe and abide by all local rules and policies relevant to the site where you work.
- You must report to your supervisor if for any reason you cannot complete the service.
- To perform any other duties which may be reasonably required by your line manager or the company
- Maintain full compliance with ISO 9002 requirements for which you have a responsibility.
- To actively be involved with Health & Safety on and around the site and bring issues to the Site Manager for logging and potentially further investigation and not to undertake tasks in a manner which could potentially be seen as breaching the health & safety at work act and OCS policies and procedures.

**Professional Qualifications**

NVQ level 2 in Healthcare and BICS cleaning certificate.Not essential as training will be given via IMPACT.

**Experience**

Cleaning experience desired but not essential as training will be given.

Must be a team player who is willing to work to strict deadlines.

- Ability to follow policy and procedures.
