I am currently on the lookout for an experienced Architectural Technologist that has an interest in working in the residential sector to join an Architectural Consultant practice located in Cheltenham.
This practice currently has 14 members of staff and due to a growing portfolio, are looking to expand their technical team. The practice pride itself on their high standard of support for both planning and technical design work, being delivered on time, andto the specific requirements and at competitive prices.
With over 50 years' experience, the Directors have strong knowledge of the Architectural industry and obtain expert skills in providing Architectural planning and technical support. They are specialists within the residential sector, working closely with NationalHouse Building companies, Housing Associates and Regional & Local Developers - so having experience in this sector will be highly beneficial.
Due to their strong pipeline of work, they are on the lookout for an experienced Architectural Technologist who has the ability in taking planning drawings and converting them to working drawings.
Ideally, you will have experience in either Revit, ArchiCAD or CAD programs - this practice utilises all 3 software.
The Position: Architectural Technologist
- Experience in using ArchiCAD, Revit or CAD
- The use of Photoshop is beneficial but not essential
- Taking planning drawings and converting to working drawings
- Creating drawings from inception
- Technical detailing
- Checking sub-contractor drawings
- Issuing drawings and uploading to online project systems
The salary for this position ranges from £22.5K - £33K depending on previous experience.
