**Biffa Leicester **is currently looking for a **Weighbridge Clerk **to be based at our Leicester Ball Mill site.

The role is shift based with a specified shift pattern as follows:
**Ball Mill**:
08:00 - 17:00 Mon to Fri - 45 hours a week.

**A quick look at the role.**

The role holder will be responsible for the operation of the computerised weighbridge and providing administrative support for other members of the team as well as general administrative duties.

Applicants must be computer literate and appreciate the need for accurate VDU input in addition to having the flexibility and ability to work as part of a small team.

The role holder will drive best practice on a daily basis through high compliance and H&S standards.

- To ensure the Weighbridge activities are conducted in a professional and legal manner & in line with the Companies policies and procedures.
- Ensure health and safety of all the staff on site with a target of zero accidents & LTI’s.
- Produce dashboards and KPIs as requested by the Management team.
- Adherence to Club Zero.
- Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported immediately.
- Responsible for all deliveries to site and inducting new visitors.

- Weighbridge, waste management operational experience

- Effective verbal and written communication
- Articulate, confident and assertive
- Robust and resilient, able to absorb pressure and respond positively
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise
- Experience of building and maintaining relationships
- Delivering first class customer service
- Ability to deal with conflict and negotiate / manage the appropriate outcome
- Attention to detail and able to quickly assess issues and recommend and/or implement solutions
- Numeracy and ability to understand numerical data
