The Women's and Children's Clinical Administration Unit is looking for an experienced part time Medical Secretary to work in their busy Paediatric Department, based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury. Paediatric knowledge would be desirable but is not essential. The role is to be spread over 4 days.

An understanding of the need for confidentiality and diplomacy is a must as well as excellent communication skills along with good audio typing speeds, accuracy and good knowledge of IT systems and medical terminology as well as a good telephone manner and being able to deal with sensitive calls.

Knowledge of Allscripts/ERS/RTTr/Cube would be desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital Trust in the county of Kent.
