Mechanical Assembler

**Location**: Littleport, Cambridgeshire

**Salary**: Circa £12 per hour + Overtime available at 1.5X

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (42.5 hours per week)

**Duration**: Permanent

**Benefits**: Overtime at 1.5X

**Duties will include**:

- Taking delivery of parts from suppliers
- Fixing the engine and frame to the vehicle chassis
- Building the vehicle to specific engineering drawings
- Assembling other parts using and hand tools
- Controlling paint spraying machinery
- Fitting interiors, wiring, lights, dashboards and windscreens
- Moving finished vehicles to storage areas ready for shipping
- Carrying out quality checks at each stage of production

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with your hands
- High concentration skills
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
- Experience of working with a range of hand tools is essential for this role
