Shot Blaster/labourer

Meadowbank Shotblasting & Coatings are a rapidly expanding Industrial coatings company, located in Rotherham close to the M1.

Through our customer service and commitment to a quality, we have continued to remain extremely busy during these difficult times.

Due to our expansion we currently have positions vacant for experienced shotblasters and shotblast labourers.

Standard 8hr shift, Mon-Fri. Start/finish times could be flexible to suit the applicant.

Applicants must have extensive previous experience of manually grit blasting large Industrial items within a booth environment and/or operation of an auto-blasting machine.

Applicants should also be conversant with overhead crane operations, handling and turning large steel items and the loading and un-loading of lorries and trailers.

Previous spray painting and/or fork lift truck experience would be a distinct advantage.

Applicant must be physically fit as the position requires manual labour and the lifting and handling of heavy items.

Applicants will be required to assist with all aspects of blasting and painting production, under mínimal supervision and be able to adapt to varies products and techniques. Reliability and time keeping will be a key element to success.

Job location is Rotherham. Please DO NOT APPLY if you cannot commute on a daily basis at the specified times.

Hourly pay rate will be constantly reviewed should the successful applicants prove their ability and experience.
