Electricity North West are currently looking for someone to join our Business Support Team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract on a part time basis (15 hours per week) and can be flexible to suit.

**Our role**

As a Business Support Administrator you will provide full administrative support to our Engineering and Industrial Craft teams and Delivery Managers with previous experience working in a busy, challenging environment, you will be highly organised and able to perform a wide range of administrative tasks.

The main responsibilities will be:

Dealing with any procurement requests:

- Take a collective responsibility for any procurement and account related requests and queries.
- Raise all requested purchase orders, customer set up, refunds, vendor set up requests within a timely manner.
- Work intelligently with other Business Support staff to ensure that items such as stationery, paper and PPE are not over-ordered, to ensure effective use of Business Support cost centre.
- Monitor your own inbox for any order or accounting requests and requests and ensure these are resolved promptly.

Alongside this, you will be required to assist with the Business Support department’s role to provide general administrative support to the Lakes Operations area.
This is a varied role which is suitable for someone who can be adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of the organisation.

**What are we looking for:

- **
- Previous experience working in utilities or construction industries and knowledge of electricity distribution networks (Desirable)
- Previous experience raising order
- Previous experience working in an administrative setting (Essential)
- Have experience working in a commercially focussed organisation (Desirable);
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
- Be self-motivated and can work independently, whilst under pressure to meet relevant business targets, often using your own initiative
- Have a high level of organisation and ability to prioritise competing workloads whilst working dynamically across multiple teams with varied skillsets
- Computer literate and proficient with a full range of Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (Essential)
- 5 A* to C GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths (Essential)
