Salary £35 - 50k Depending on experience in the bridging arena - this role also offers flexible working at the same time as needing to have an office presence due to the nature of the role

We are recruiting for an Senor Underwriter from a bridging products environment to join an established team whilst a series of projects get under way - this is due to an increase in lending levels which will only continue

This is an exciting time to join the company.

The team is a small team and therefore there is a chance to be extremely influential within the business working with the MD and Senior Management alongside three other Senior Underwriters

**Duties will include**:

- Build successful working relationships with third parties such as solicitors and valuers
- Understand and assess relevant supporting documentation such as credit reports, valuation reports and financial statements
- Monitor and report any fraudulent activity
- Work within regulatory requirements

**You will have**:

- Relevant, bridging, commercial or buy-to-let underwriting experience
- Enjoy working in an autonomous environment, as well as working as a team
- Have the ability to make decisions and communicate these clearly
- A confident self-starter
- Excellent numeracy skills

Salary £35 - 50k Depending on experience - this role also offers flexible working at the same time as needing to have an office presence due to the nature of the role

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting or a similar role within the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of quantitative analysis and risk assessment techniques
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to negotiate effectively with borrowers and other stakeholders
- Strong mathematical skills, including proficiency in advanced calculations and financial modeling
