Development Scientist

We are currently looking for a Development Scientist to join a leading FMCG company based in the Cheshire area. As the Development Scientist you will be responsible for the development, optimisation and investigation of new & existing products and processesfrom lab to plant scale, as well providing technical support to other departments on and off site.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Development Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Development Scientist you will support the development, optimisation and investigation of new & existing products and processes from lab to plant scale, as well providing technical support to other departments on and off site.
2. You will show initiative in developing innovative and creative solutions to problems and projects. Also you will be able to manage multiple tasks and deliver against deadlines.
3. As the Development Scientist you will have a soled understand a wide range of chemistries, including protein chemistry.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Relevant degree in chemistry or closely relate discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in product development, optimisation and investigation of new & existing products.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with developing processes from lab to plant scale, as well providing technical support to other departments on and off site.
