As a part of our small but dynamic team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and elevating our reputation through your logistics expertise.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Coordinating and scheduling transport operations to ensure efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Monitoring and tracking the movement of vehicles, drivers, and shipments to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Planning and organising routes to optimise delivery schedules and minimise transportation costs.
- Liaising with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transportation activities.
- Assigning drivers and vehicles to specific routes and deliveries based on availability, capacity, and customer requirements.
- Conducting regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance, driver logs, and fuel consumption.
- Monitoring driver performance and compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Addressing any operational issues or delays in a timely manner, such as traffic congestion, accidents, or mechanical breakdowns.
- Managing and resolving customer enquiries, complaints, and issues related to transportation services.
- Collaborating with suppliers, contractors, and third-party logistics providers to coordinate transportation services and resolve any logístical challenges.
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, such as driver hours-of-service regulations, tachograph records, and vehicle licensing.
- Managing and optimising transport costs by analysing data, negotiating contracts, and seeking cost-saving opportunities.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to transportation and logistics.
- Work closely with our diverse team, embracing a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Adapt to various tasks in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating flexibility and a can-do attitude.
- Utilise your exceptional organisational skills to streamline operations and create efficient workflows.

**Key Requirements**:
Strong administration skills.

Proven experience in the transport or construction industry, preferably in a logistics coordination role.

Excellent English language and communication skills - both written and spoken - for clear and effective communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms for creating reports, presentations, and managing data.

Strong organisational and logistics skills with an eye for detail.

Comfortable working in a small team, being both a team player and a self-starter.
