Are you a NVQ 2 Level 2 qualified Pharmacy Dispenser looking to make a change and join a forward thinking, high-growth Technology Focused Digital Pharmacy in Birmingham on a full time basis? May consider part time basis (24 hours between Wednesday and Friday).Our Birmingham branch is based in the Aston area and you’ll be working alongside our Pharmacist. You will have interaction with different functional areas, such as Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering to make a positive difference in how we grow. This role will provide exposure to a scaling pharmacy-technology business that offers the chance for career progression for the right individual.

Phlo Digital Pharmacy is an online pharmacy aiming to empower patients by giving them full control of their healthcare. Using our app, patients can manage, order and track their prescriptions and benefit from same-day, real-time deliveries. Phlo Connect is our marketing leading integrated pharmacy infrastructure platform.Phlo Clinic is our recently launched service enabling patients wanting certain treatment (such as hair loss and weight management) to get medication prescribed and dispensed for them in a safe and convenient way.

This role is suited to an experienced, UK-qualified NVQ2 dispenser who strives to make a positive difference and enjoys multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. As Phlo is a digital pharmacy, you won’t be involved with face-to-face patient interactions or pressures of dealing with phone calls whilst dispensing. Instead, you will be liaising with our dedicated patient care team to ensure patients get the best possible service from Phlo. You’ll also be working to pace to dispense medications in our main pharmacy dispensing hub. We use a range of bespoke platforms and systems, therefore being comfortable with technology is essential.

**The Job**

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be involved in the following:

- Dispensing prescriptions efficiently and accurately
- Generating dispensing labels using PMR system
- Assembling and labelling medicines
- Referring enquiries and problems to the on-duty pharmacist
- Liaising with courier drivers and Royal Mail reps to ensure the correct packages go out for delivery
- Receiving and unloading deliveries from wholesale suppliers
- Ensuring medication is stored at the correct temperatures and updating the control records
- Ensuring work space is clean, tidy and organized
- Supporting the Pharmacist with ad hoc duties as required
- Working with the team to review processes and to identify friction points
- Working with our dedicated Patient Care Team to ensure internals tickets are actioned

**Requirements**:
**The Person**

Ideally, we’re looking for someone with the following:

- NVQ Level 2 UK Dispensary Assistant Qualification
- Highly comfortable using and adapting to various tech systems and processes
- Experience working in a busy pharmacy
- Experience in community pharmacy dispensing NHS prescriptions is desirable
- Experience dispensing for an online pharmacy is desirable
- Good understanding of the NHS prescription system
- Knowledge of pharmacy PMR systems
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working at pace
- High attention to detail
- Wanting to make a positive change in the healthcare space
- DBS check compliant
- Comfortable with shift and weekend working
