We are looking to hire a personable Lead Dental Receptionist to ensure that they lead and train the receptionist team to ensure dental patients’ appointments are appropriately scheduled, rescheduled, or cancelled, depending on the needs of the patients. They will also ensure that Dental Receptionist’s responsibilities include entering patient information onto our data system, answering patients’ questions, and arranging referrals to other dental specialists is completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will also be responsible to prepare billing statements, cash sheets and further administration required from Head Office.

To be successful as a Senior Dental Receptionist/Administrator, you should be able to delegate, organise and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. Ultimately, you will be supporting the Dental Receptionist's to ensure all duties are performed in the highest manner that ensures the efficient running of the dental practice.
Lead Dental Receptionist/Administrator Responsibilities:

- Training of Receptionists
- Problem solving to ensure and support an efficient running of the practice
- Liaise with head office to prepare cash sheets, prepare statements etc ensuring accuracy is priority.
- Support team with a positive outlook.
- Deal with 1st stage patient complaints.
- Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
- Scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments as needed.
- Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
- Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
- Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
- Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
- Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing and faxing.

Lead Dental Receptionist Requirements:

- Proven experience working in a receptionist environment.
- Proficient in dental practice management software.
- Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
- Good telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
