As Student Liaison Officer, you act as a key part of the students support system within the UK. Whilst interacting with students on a daily basis and acting as their first point of contact with the company, you will also be providing vital translation and support services to enhance their experiences whilst studying in the UK. You will be responsible for liaising with our partner independent schools in the UK, students enrolled in those schools and their parents. The communication to these parties would be in English or in the relevant client language (as appropriate) to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of information and provision of support for students.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide information, personal support, liaison and advocacy for students
- Effective liaison with partner schools, host families and regional coordinators to gather information in regard to student performance and welfare
- Translation of student reports, invoices and any feedback to the relevant client language to send to parents regularly
- Creation and maintenance of detailed student records and administration as required.
- Provide mentoring service/advice to students in academic/welfare/culture aspects
- Assist with student arrangements in advance of school vacations with students, parents and schools;
- Extra tuition as requested,
- Homestay booking and confirmation
- Travel arrangements
- Ensuring adequate parental permission is received in advance of any arrangements which require it.
- Visit students in school on a termly basis
- Keep parents informed with students’ academic progress and general wellbeing in the UK
- Report to line manager on weekly basis and escalate issues immediately to relevant colleagues when necessary.

**_In addition to these key areas of responsibilities, additional duties may be required from time to time_**

Essential Requirements & Experience:

- Relevant work experience is a **MUST**
- Time management skills and proven ability to balance workload and use initiative
- Competency in using Microsoft Office, with experience in using Word and Excel.
- Strong understanding of UK Safeguarding laws
- A sound understanding of WeChat App

Desirable Requirements & Experience:

- Previous experience with students studying at independent schools
- Previous experience of an office-based role
- Previous experience in liaising with multiple stakeholders across different platforms
- Knowledge of international students and their needs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
