You will be working as part of a small, friendly team in a family-run business that has been in operation for 60 years. Full training will be provided. Hours will be 16+ per week between 8.00-17.00 Monday to Friday and between 8.00-16.00 on Saturdays.

Main duties will involve:
Serving customers in our bakery shop, providing fast and friendly customer service, accurate cash handling and calculating bill totals for customer and packaging food items for sale.

Preparing sandwiches and restocking products in the shop.

Keeping all work areas clean.

Setting up and closing down the shop

The job will involve using mental arithmetic to calculate bills. It can also involve some heavy lifting. The shop is often busy, particularly across lunch times, so experience of working in a fast paced customer service environment would be advantageous.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
