Are you experienced in producing tender documents and quotations from within a mechanical engineering / manufacturing industry and looking for your next exciting new position with a worldwide organisation?

Our superb client based in Newcastle are seeking an experienced Quotes & Tender Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday 37 hours per week. This position offers hybrid working.

As Quotes & Tender Engineer, you will be responsible for producing parts tender documents and quotations, dealing with customer enquiries, scoping the customer parts requirements, supporting a busy sales team to assist in the generation of successful newbusiness wins, understanding the customer needs and making recommendation to enhance the service, liaise with internal colleagues, providing ongoing support to engineers, and making the customer journey a positive experience at all times.

To be considered for the role of Quotes & Tender Engineer, it is essential that you have either HNC in Engineering or similar and / or equivalent experience to support your product knowledge, experience of estimating within mechanical and electrical engineering,a strong customer awareness and high level of communication skills both verbally and written, experience and enjoyment of working within a fast paced industry.

The Role:

- Creating proposals and tender documents
- Participation in tender reviews
- Assessing technical requirements through liaison with various departments
- Working for a world leading manufacturer within the subsea industry
- Minimum of 5 years in a tendering position within an engineering industry
- Must have a engineering qualification (HND level minimum)
- Knowledge of IFS or a previous ERP system
