A highly experienced **Company Secretary** is required for this Property Investment company to commence as soon as possible on a temporary basis.

As the Company Secretary, you will report to the Head of the Company Secretariat, managing a wide range of portfolios, with the assistance of the company secretarial administrator, and working with the Legal team.

You will be involved with developing relationships with external Company Directors, and joint venture clients, building relationships with internal stakeholders, and providing an exemplary service

You will.
- Provide a full company secretarial service to a portfolio of companies, boards, joint venture entities, board/management/investment advisory committees, often in line with contractual commitments in a service agreement
- Arranging Board meetings and all requirements including preparation of board packs and taking minutes of meetings
- Maintain records of all subsidiaries and associated property assets, regular reviews of dormant companies and work with internal and external parties to facilitate solvent liquidations.
- Act as 'shadow' company secretary for various offshore entities where UK company secretarial support is required for local drafting and execution
- Report quarterly to Board on all compliance matters
- Manage statutory filings and file documents with Companies House through our GEMs system
- Ensure all regulatory requirements, regulatory training and declarations are completed and maintained.
- Facilitate and advise on document execution in the UK and offshore usingg. DocuSign
- Maintain full records of staff directorships, associated property assets and coordinate documentation relating to director changes to include filing with Companies House
- Act as company secretary for various real estate and fund legal entities
- Identification, assessment, and implementation of regulatory and legislative changes
- Delivery of ad hoc corporate governance projects under the direction of the Head of Legal

**Skills and Experience Required for this Company Secretarial role**
- Professional Qualification - Chartered Secretary (ACIS or FCIS) **or** an equivalent level of professional qualification and experience
- Educated to degree level
- Preferably not less than 8-10 years' experience in all aspects of company secretarial work
- Previous experience of working in a highly regulated sector e.g. Financial Services would be desirable
- Experience in legal matters, policies, procedures for the Investment Management industry and desirable for the Construction and Property Development industries
- Must have good interpersonal, problem solving, technical and analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptable personal style with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Highly organised and pragmatic
- Ability to develop and build relationships.

Day Rate: £500 - £600

Hybrid Working: 2 days in the office

Location: London North West
