Our client, Circle Health Group, is seeking a skilled ODP Anaesthetics to join their team at the Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon, Surrey. **About the Role**:
In this temporary position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your primary focus will be on the anaesthetic phase of the perioperative process, ensuring the safe administration of anaesthesia and monitoring the patient's vital signs throughout the procedure.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the anaesthetic room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available
- Assist the Anaesthetist during the induction, maintenance, and emergence phases of anaesthesia
- Monitor the patient's condition, including vital signs, during surgery and adjust anaesthetic levels as necessary
- Administer medications and fluids as directed by the Anaesthetist
- Ensure the safe transfer of the patient to the recovery room
- Document all interventions, medications, and vital signs accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care

**Requirements**:

- Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Operating Department Practitioner
- Specialization in Anaesthetics
- Proven experience working as an ODP in an anaesthetic setting
- Excellent knowledge of anaesthetic techniques and medications
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care
