**About Us**:
We are a dedicated team, providing comprehensive and person-centred mental health support to individuals living with mental illnesses (no personal care). Our 12-bedroom ‘supported living’ facility bridges the gap between residential care and independent living, creating a secure and empowering environment for the residents on their journey to recovery.

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Mental Health Recovery Workers to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of the service users.

**Position Overview**:
As a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the recovery and well-being of clients recovering from mental illness in our 12-bedroom facility. You will provide one-to-one support, assist with daily living activities, and foster an environment that promotes independence and healing.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide emotional support to clients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner.
- Support service-users in the maintenance of their emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Develop trusting relationships with service users, encouraging them to express their needs, views, and concerns.
- Support service users to manage and to maintain the safety, hygiene, and comfort of their own environment.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, budgeting, appointments, medication management and participating in their local community.
- Work with service users to develop and implement person centred, outcome-based support plans that outline goals and future aspirations and achieve positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or certificate in a related field is desirable but is not necessary
- Prior experience working in a mental health care setting is desirable but not necessary - We will teach you on the job
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and the ability to build trust with residents.
- Understanding of recovery-focused care principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
